ON VIEW AT MAIN WINDOW

“present package” is inspired primarily by the physical and historical specificity of the space at 1 Main. The architecture of the window, as well as the history of the building—built by Robert Gair, the inventor of the cardboard box—led Logothetis to create an environment that embraces the parameters of the window’s structure, employing his established visual language of fabrics, plastics and photographs to create complex patterns that refer to order, industry, control, and manipulation, in this case of nature, in the service of packaging and consumerism.
